About Us
Art@Viraj was started by Ojas Desai in 1999 as a humble art-print selling outlet in a small flat. He came across several art stores while traveling to foreign countries and a visit to an art gallery triggered this decision of starting an art related business. Coincidentally, during same time period, a friend’s mother bought a nicely framed art print from an art shop in Vadodara. This reaffirmed his belief that art business shall do well in Surat.
Out of passion, perseverance and hard work, Art@Viraj kept on expanding year by year and today, it is the only private art gallery in Surat which is selling original art-works and authentic, limited edition art prints. In this mad rush for cheap and fake art pieces, Art@Viraj is both, a mark of authenticity and a wave of fresh air in the world of art.
